Hey, Dime is just a victim, like the rest of us. I think we all just have irrationally high expectations that this thread actually be Funny.

Really, I'd rather see fewer posts that were specific to the thread, than a bunch made for the sole purpose of hearing one's own voice, so to speak.

Anyways, here's a slightly extensive log, showing the great fun that can be had when activity is on the slow side.

I'm confused. Are you questioning the fact that you went through the shield, or the fact that the golem -used- a shield?

If it's the first...note that the shields are 'transparent'. I would expect you to be able to see through a 'transparent' shield.

Ergo, logically, Display should still work. But who said logic has any place in Akanbar. After all, you can still hit blind people with it.

Runes go through shields. It was meant to be changed but never was.

Tidy hut with flower garden
This small hut has a single hammock slung between the centre post and post
making up the western side of the doorframe. A pair of sandals lies on the
floor under the hammock. A shelf along the back wall holds a variety of hair
ornaments, jeweled pins, and small pots with coloured pastes. Toralei,
daughter of Soran stands here. A silver golem stands silently here. Enchanter
Airis is here. You can progress north.
