Again, the reason you even got me involved at all was calling me a cheater. You lost, I didn't aide Faralil and so I decided to call you out on your defeat. Take it how you want it, if you call me a cheater when I clearly didnt regardless of your assumptions, I will of course stand up for myself. Good win Faralil, I am sorry that some people just can't handle a loss in game. What matters is how a girl got her first Pyromancer victory and that Pryomancer tries his hardest to throw a tantrum and make excues to take away from her win.

I am done on the topic

To be the best, one must defeat the best. Not once, but on a consistent basis.

You should really talk to Faralil, because I clearly can. I even complimented her and I was nice to her ingame. Apparently I should just say 'Fuck roleplay, Im going to go bash some more!' and make the elite of Akanbar happy.

Since we like to make edits after we post and a reply comes up:
msg faralil ((Just so you know, since at the moment, you're the only person I could care what they think, the first post was supposed to be incharacter.))
You grab a passing lad by the collar and ask him to carry your message to Faralil, handing him correct gold for his trouble.

Faralil : (( I understand. Sometimes I forget the forums are in character ))

msg faralil ((It's....sad, really. Parts are, and parts aren't. Like Mug of Mead can be both. Like I wrote, I don't care that you won. You got extremely better each one.))
You grab a passing lad by the collar and ask him to carry your message to Faralil, handing him correct gold for his trouble.

Faralil : (( Ah thank you! I've been working hard. I'm still slow and I have a problem with people leaving))

msg faralil ((It shows, I think. I haven't exactly been able to witness other fights, but like I said, improvements were there in those three.))
You grab a passing lad by the collar and ask him to carry your message to Faralil, handing him correct gold for his trouble.
I even checked the guidelines from Zyc to make sure. I'm just a horrible person.

Calling someone a cheater IG or OOC is always a serious offense and can cause all kinds of trouble for the one accused and it is sure to cause strong emotions across the IC barrier.

I've worked hard in trying to build a reputation for Faralil and someone calling me a cheater is going to make -me- angry. It shouldn't because I am not Faralil, but there are many repercussion for something that didn't happen IG that I am now forced to deal with.

No one is going to want to fight Faralil anymore. It also casts doubt on all her past fights. Every win that she has ever had is now in question. That kind of role play can be fun for other people but for those affected it isn't.

There really isn't any rule for this though I suppose. No one can stop anyone from saying anyone about anyone IG. It is up to an individual to decide how badly they truly want to ruin someone's experience.

I don't think it should, really. Alistair doesn't talk to many people(Not awake enough anyways?), and I don't think taking things for face value from a Golgonian should be a good way to go for anyone.

There is a reason Alistair is a Pyro and in Golgonath, and follows Xyrath, and it comes into play with something like this.

The only way someone wouldn't want to fight Faralil that I can tell would be if Aaridan was following her? Other than that, it shoudn't matter. I never even said the word 'cheater', I would've used interfering anyways, because it sounds much less harsh.

Spin it your way. "If he wants to think I cheated to win, let him. I know what happened, and anyone who believes him is a fool."

I am aware that Akanbar is not roleplay enforced, but should it really be a crime for someone to want to roleplay at all times? I don't do it with my other character, but have -always- made it a point to with Alistair whenever I logged on him. Doesn't make sense to me, I guess.

Everytime Faralil is in AKanbar she is in role. ALL THE TIME except for personal conversations.

How do you roleplay? That is entirely up to you, it is a purely personal
matter. You may decide to play an evil twisted tyrant whose goal in life is
to take over the world, or you may wish to play as a righteous hero who
wishes to see right triumph over wrong. Decide on your personality, are you
the friendly type, or perhaps you may be a snob who treats everyone else with
              disdain.
I chose to be the twisted one, but I guess I can't be too twisted, because it'll ruin people's experiences in the game.

The thread "Akan-BAH" has become "Akan-BORED" or "Akan-BORING" for me

People who abuse Celestial Island by taking all the gold the rainbows leave behind, a feature meant for novices, just like the rest of Celestial Island.

                  You say, "Ready? Ready?"
                  You say, "Go get it!"
You throw a light crystal to the up.
                  You have recovered balance.
Sir Ichiban is no longer following you.

People who abused the Island by having novices buy mass amounts of runes, therefore jacking up the prices for the real novices.

And yeah, just people who abuse it in general.

                    • General skills that are available to everyone being better than guild skills. Makes many many guild skills pointless.

                      One example

                      Divination in Intonation
                      Presences in Intelligence

Presences is available to everyone. It is superior to divination because it doesn't use mana and it doesn't use focus or balance if you find something. You can spam presences.

I'm fine with repeat skills, but guild skills should generally be a little better than those available to everyone.

                      • Divination in Intonation comes as what..the third skill? Second? That's like 10 lessons at the most.

Presences in Intelligences comes at learned. A good 250 something crystals in.

As well, you mentioned "You can spam presences." - But you disproved this in your post already.

It is superior to divination because it doesn't use mana and it doesn't use focus or balance if you find something.
If you don't find anything, you lose focus, therefore it's half better than Divination, as that always uses focus.

                        • I don't understand how that makes divination better. You always lose with divintation. With Presences you only lose when you don't find what you are looking for. Usually when you are looking for people who are online you always find them.
                          Explain it better.

                          • One takes 6-12 crystals to learn. Two hours.

The other takes 250 crystals to learn. MORE THAN TWO HOURS.

                            Better?

                            • I'm not sure what that has to do with my point.

Yeah presences takes longer to learn, but it is still a repeat guild skill that once learned makes our guild skill useless. Too many skills are like this.

Guild skills should be superior to skills that are available to everyone

                              • Because when you're starting, and you have divination, you're fine with it. Then you get presences, and you're happy! You -spent time to learn a better version of something-. That, along with upping damage for some/lowering damage for others, is what general skills is about.

Now, this also works the opposite way. If you had cooking in lore, but then learned how to cook for a tradeskill, you wouldn't say, 'OH MY GOD! They used the idea for two skillsets. They even made a whole skill out of one. PLEASE FIX IT.'

Guild skills should be superior to skills that are available to everyone.
Wrong. Not everything you learn in Akanbar, nor real life, will be better then what the general public can learn. But, if you're just starting out, and have the crappy version to survive on for a while, then you won't complain.

Zycandos has said, as is true and obvious to anyone who watches, people will find the best skills in a skillset and stick to them. If another skill in another skillset works better, use that instead.

We're not forcing you to use divination, and I'm still not sure why you're complaining about one of the lowest skills in the set. You spent a few minutes to learn a relatively easy skill(Divination). You spend a few days to learn a tougher skill - You should get rewarded, yeah?
