I must have been misunderstood somewhere in my post. I never said you couldn't have fun, but at another's expense seems like awfully bad taste. However, you do admit to insulting him by saying "he had no idea I was insulting him" which you and Krailis thought was very funny. So perhaps Roeshak laughed because as he stated his "vocabulary may not be as advanced".

I've said my peace, so best of luck to you all and your humour.

You tell Slave Roeshak, "Mmm, two of your city's elders. I will not divulge
the names, but I am sure even a simple-minded Golgonan can figure it out"
You say, "Insulting Golgonans is amusing"
You tell Slave Roeshak, "Afraid the answers are awry, my addlepate"
        *addlepated

You tell Slave Roeshak, "Procreation postulates that both a paternal and
post-pubescent partner in this pairing are present. The primary presumption
was... Precise, whereas the post-primary presumption was... Pitiful."
        Peter pipper picked a pepper?

You tell Slave Roeshak, "I suppose such speeches shall sever with such sweet
scent of stupidity spewing from said slave. As the Saying goes, stupidity
        stops when speaking ceases."
There is another saying...it is better to be silent and appear stupid than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

The point of the post wasn't to laugh in his face at any difference of intelligence
        I lol'd.

I'm going to censor myself from responding to most of the last two sentences out of respect for the forum.
Thank the gods for that! In short...using sophisticated words does not, in turn, make you sophisticated, as you've just shown by this...rather droll display of trying to assert intellectual dominance over someone else.

          Addle-pate

          Ad"dle-pate\, n. A foolish or dull-witted fellow.

And before you attempt to scold me for not saying the hyphen, Do you say whenever you use a hyphen in real life? I think not.

...There's also a saying that you should follow your own advice before dishing it out to someone else.

Read the above. Now pretend I was telling you it. Thanks! That saved me work.

I don't know what dictionary you are looking at, because neither Addle-pate nor addlepate are in Webster-Merriam. However, Addlepated is. Imagine that.

            http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Addlepated

Also, I wasn't giving you advice. I assure you, I know how futile an attempt that would be, no matter how valuable the wisdom departed. I was simply quoting a quote. Try not to get so defensive all the time.

              1) addlepated is an adjective. With your suggestion, the sentence wouldn't even make sense
              2) http://dictionary.reference.com/ Who also uses webster. Sorry your site doesn't have a word. It's unfortunate, really.
              3) Unfortunately, doing the last part would be rather impossible, but you can keep believing in yourself. It's cute watching it.

Stop getting your words from Urban Dictionary. Webster-Merriam is the worldwide registered Dictionary.

It would make perfect sense to use such an adjective such as addlepated if use as follow:

                "She's such an addlepated youth."

Faily simple I would say. But at least you tried, that's what really counts. But that refers me back to my point about using big words to seem intellegent, but failing to use them properly/understand what they mean.

Both of you, the back and forth passive-aggressiveness is silly. Let's go back to the meaning of the thread, shall we?

Marx tells you, "((I hope he goes to Elys/Golg))"

You tell Marx, "((GET AWAY FROM ME DEMON.))"

I'm with chyren, if you want to squabble, thats what messages, tells, and forum-private-messages are for.
You give the body of Mordikhan, Dragon of Bronze to Silas.

Silas says, "You just handed me a dragon."

You say, "Yes, yes I did."

Silas slowly takes a step back.

                    Silas blinks.

                    Silas has just walked south.

You say, "Will I run into a rabid porcupine?"

You give a huge crystal ball a good shake.

A huge crystal ball echoes in your mind, "Absolutely, Death is not the End

                      You mutter under your breath.

"I had no clue that the forum was used in such a manner to put down other people to make one feel more superior. I guess in some sick twisted way it could be funny to some people, but pretty sure that most of us have better things to do."

Once again, Aaridan steps up in righteous indignation against abuse of the forums. Kudos. I nominate Aaridan to heresoforth be the forum Sheriff, as he is such a shining example for us all. I only wish everyone could hear him whine in the Golgonath forums about Lady Leanora and pk policies to do with marching troops among his little circle of cronies.

Interesting comments "Lott", what I find most enjoyable is the acknowledgement from Lord Zycandos that warfare needs changes (evident in post main bb 602).

I am glad you find my comments interesting, "Runic Admiral Tyden Reginald Edinburgh III" , but before you enjoy it too much, just because Lord Zycandos publically acknowledges warfare needing changes doesnt necessarily mean you are right.
