I am considering starting a weekly or bi-weekly event involving Akanbar's world event games. I'm going to let you all choose which event is your favourite, and the two or three that get the most votes, I may start hosting regularly, depending on time and player activity.

Combat free for all (both with EXP loss and without)
And because I just realized I left out a very important part of the poll, here's the second part: Game descriptions!
Skull hunt: Skulls are scattered across all parts of the land. Whoever finds the most, wins. Game can have a range of restrictions, from partner/group searches, to restrictions on guild movement skills.
Capture the flag: I assume most of you know what a capture the flag game consists of. The object of the game is to gather all the flags at your team's base. Each team will start with their own flag to defend.
Hot Potato: A colosseum game that is fairly self explanatory. Pass the skull around. The aim of the game is to NOT be holding the skull when the time runs out.
Free for all: Every man (or woman) for him/herself. He or she who kills the most people in a set amount of time, wins. Event may be EXP-loss-free, depending on either player vote or my own preference.
You can't just drop the skull in Hot Potatoe? Sounds like a really challenging game. Maybe there could be a PvP version of it to where the object is to gain possession of the skull and keep it as long as possible. When time's up the person with the skull wins. Also could do things like a lottery, where the player base can put things into one of those boxes like the suggestion box at the Library and buy tickets. Whoever wins gets a large percentage of the ticket profits, and everything in the box. This could be hosted by the cities individually for their citizens, and the city takes the remaining percentage of the ticket profits. Just some ideas.
I'm going to go ahead and vote for the Skull Hunt though.
The Strong may rule the Weak, but the Clever will always rule the Strong.

Zycandos ran the hot potato variant once. the item is cursed, its your typical standard run of the mill curse. can't drop the blasted thing, only give it to other people. It's more like a game of Tag than anything else really. Think it was run for the last Ascenion quest.
The skull quest is (and looking at the results so far, forever will be) the most popular game ever made.
Personally, i love that game, its like a game of odds.
Also, Kresslack, your idea sounds alot like Oddball. Like... alot like Oddball.
(Halo for anyone wondering what the hell i'm talking about.)

Reason: Forgot something.
That's because it is Oddball, I couldn't help it with the skull refrences. They have CTF in Halo too.

It's up by one vote.
CTF is so much better, because Skull hunt is based on being able to move as fast as possible, with no real strategy except keep track of places where others have been. So GG aliases/triggers.
At least with CTF, depending on who you've got on your team, you can do different approaches to defense/offense.

+1 to Capture the Flag
To be the best, one must defeat the best. Not once, but on a consistent basis.
I know this is a little late, but CTF would, and could, be simalar to raiding, if it is set out in a certain way, it could give novices, or people like me who haven't seen the war, raiding experience.
(Well, that is what I think CTF would be like on Akanbar)
Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you're going to miss it.
And intonation locating skill
and telescopes
and sending shadows to people
and mounthunt
and that hiding skill (we don't want to make it *impossible*)
and...
*snicker* but yea, manhunt/hide and go seek is always fun. Just a few things going against it in Akanbar IMO
Sir Ichiban drools all over himself.
You say, "Ready? Ready?"
You say, "Go get it!"
You throw a light crystal to the up.
You have recovered balance.
Sir Ichiban is no longer following you.
Sir Ichiban has just ridden up, astride a warhorse.
