Thanks to all who participated in the "Burning of Khazir"

It has generated a lot of activity and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It got rather tense there for a minute, and I don't think Arkad will ever be the same.

I'd love to see more of this sort of thing. So to the powers that be; Please sir, may I have some more?

Thanks also to the Golgonathian firestarters, good job. But guys...Target selection, please. Work as a team. I really thought things were going to go pear shaped for us foresty people at the start. I know the fighting wasn't the point to the entirely enjoyable experience, but I know you can do better! Looking forward to the next one!

    Cheers

It was actually hilarious. Ashrabia just kept saying, "We're going for Kenan, we're going for Kenan..."

The second we walk in, he starts hitting Dran.

      Duh.
Zycandos and Jaethor's karaoke rendition of 'I Feel Pretty'.

Jaethor goes solo with 'The Sound of Music'.

Minstrel Sharallin sings: "The lord of revenants is a withered man, sunken by age and evil. But his blood is sweet, say the young men - and they should know?"
Jaethor, God of Enlightenment tells you, "((Stop breaking Akanbar.))"

Agreed. I got quite riled up the entire time. I actually would love to see this happening a lot more, and I think Arkad has gone a little off the edge, especially with his attempts to kill Lucia, rofl.

It was like breath of fresh air... a break from mindlessly mining, learning lessions, sleep, eat, repeat. Kudos.

No, I play for Role-playing opportunities such as the one in Khazir, I just happen to mine waiting patiently for that to happen. Everyone is either bashing bashing bashing, questing, doesn't roleplay, or something of that sort. So I wait in the mines, patiently waiting. ((I sound like a creeper there. haha))

No actually. In the middle of one of those things I always wait for. A Roleplaying opp. Nomnom. Kazgar just up and started talking to me and Tiki. ((thanks whoever did this. Be it Rhyndar, Theo, or an unseen God/Goddess))

Haha! Dimetrius, yeah. I know i kept saying that but I kept forgetting to change my target. I can't remember if i was targetting Malic or Dran, but yeah i felt like a fuck tard after i realized what i did. Yes, of course we need to work together better. First time since i have been back that the opportunity presented itself. Needless to say a lot of us are rusty.

The point of that event of course was not for the fighting, although I did quite enjoy that. What i would like to say in regards to that is this though. Instead of looking to 'fight' right away. Lets try and roleplay some things out.

I know for myself, Derris, and Tiki. There is some interesting roleplay going on. For me, that is what excites me the most. The bashing, mining, questing isn't what it used to be when i was younger and smaller.

My point being this. If all the cities, if every individual could look at the game as an opportunity to create their own drama/conflict and not rely on the Gods to create such events like Khazir, the realm as a whole would have that continous spark such as the one Khazir created for many people.

Do remember thought to stay in character. Tiki is doing a GREAT JOB! I can't wait for her to come out of hiding and face her demons. But the whole conflict between the three of us is all done with emoting, talking, and shouting. Proper roleplaying is a give and take relationship. One side can't be dominante all the time.

That being said, i am hopeful that many will try this, play around with it and if you have any comments, i would love to read them.

thank you, I do quite enjoy the little tirade the three of us have. It has been quite... delicious. I agree whole-heartedly with everything though. Events like this aren't just for the boom-boom... they are dead. But for the 'em slaps $Ashrabia straight in the face.' kind of stuff. The emotes, tells, shouting, RP in general. Many people said they wanted conflict... well here you go. the sparks set by the Golgonians should have set a few sparks in everyone.

*giggles madly* ok ok so i had a bit TOO much enjoyment in the rp. Its been a while since I could cut loose. To those involved, if I scared you I do apologize as I tend to get serious in my roleplaying. However you can look forward to the future for rp from me, I've enjoyed myself so much I might do random acts of it. Hmmm what to burn next....maybe Dassa....always hated that town. maybe, maybe. you all will have to keep your eyes open for it.

Derris, Expect more torment for you and your lovely sister Tiki hehe

Yea. I hate when I accidentally stab people on the street and they get upset. I'm like "dude, I didn't mean to run at you and shove this knife into your torso. Chill, alright? Eesh"
Sir Ichiban drools all over himself.
                          You say, "Ready? Ready?"
                          You say, "Go get it!"
You throw a light crystal to the up.
                          You have recovered balance.
Sir Ichiban is no longer following you.
Sir Ichiban has just ridden up, astride a warhorse.
