Because quite a few people have asked, here are the rules to the Leadership Ascension Quest:
LEADERSHIP ASCENSION RULES
Welcome to the leadership ascension quest. The participants are Demandred, Dimetrius and Zinerva (simply in alphabetical order, not by points). Each team is given a golden orb. Each orb keeps track of how many STRENGTH and POWER points you possess.
POWER POINTS
Power points are gained in two ways:
- Hour 0-12, power points are gained through sacrificing corpses.
- Hour 13-24, you may also complete quests to gain points. You can also continue to sacrifice corpses for power points during this time.
In order to sacrifice corpses, your orb must be set on the ground using the ORB command. This means you ORB PUT to put down the orb and ORB GET to get the orb. You can drop and get the orbs normally, you simply won't be able to do all the commands with them unless they are set with ORB PUT. ORB SET is also a command that does the same as ORB PUT.
STRENGTH POINTS
Strength points are obtained by exposing your orb (Must be set with ORB PUT, explained above) to an enemy's orb. No allies of the enemy orb can be around and at least one ally of your orb must be standing nearby. This means if you are on Dimetrius's team and you are standing next to both Dimetrius's and Zinerva's orb, Dimetrius's orb will sap the strength from Zinerva's orb. If Zinerva then stood next to both orbs as well, neither orb would benefit or be harmed. You can only sap strength from an orb that has strength to give.
When a participant holding the orb dies, they will drop the orb. The same happens if they leave the lands. They are treated the same as non-resetting quest items, so they cannot be destroyed either.
This means you are free to kill whoever currently holds the orb of your enemy. If your ally is being attacked, it is up to you if you want to defend them. You cannot start attacking someone not holding the orb unless they begin defending either the orb or the holder of the orb.
If your orb is left alone (no allies around, nor enemies), it will lose strength and power points every few seconds.
