  • A day in Elysium

Vael woke up in the oak bed in the drawing room. He looked around, sitting on the bed, wondering where he was, until slowly, he regained memory of the acceptance of his presence in Ahmad's household. He beamed, remembering the fond memories of Lucia's helping hand and warm embrace as he suddenly realized he had a shelter, a roof over his head, and two good friends who'd help him out whenever he needed it. The Templar-in-training jumped out bed, quickly got dressed, armoured and armed and went to the reception hall, hoping to see one of them awake. Slightly dissapointed, he decided to take a stroll to the noble Chapterhouse stables to greet Sir Oldain and take his trusted warhorse, "Luminary", for a refreshing walk along his master's side.
"What a beautiful day!" He says to the citizens he encounters along Paramor Avenue. He almost runs from the excitement of seeing the bridge to the Inner Courtyard, home to the Templar Guild of the Republic. As the young page walks in, Luminary charges at him, and in a quick magnificent move, mounts the horse while in motion, shouting apologies to Sir Oldain for the noise and mess behind his back as he and his companion canter down Paramor, into the Plaza of Seasons. When arriving, he is quickly greeted by a parade of citizens, including but not limited to, Althon, a Senate Aide, a couple of guards, and Lucia and Ahmad eating venison pies and drinking fresh water. Vael joined them and after that, they went off to hunt and bash, and Vael met the goblins.

But that's a story for another day...!
    To be continued!
